What medium do you use?

These images are pure digital art (no photography) or a combination of digital and oil on canvas. For more details see technical information.

Why digital?

The digital medium allows for me to create scenes with great detail and realism. They have a different look than traditional paint that I think will grow in popularity in the next few years. It is truly something new and a real breakthrough in art! It has taken many years to mature but the time is here for some truly revolutionary images.

What makes a digital "original" an original? Isn't it a print?

Yes, my originals are prints (there is no painted original in existence). The original is the first and one of a kind canvas print with the original signatures of the signees. It is the largest and only print of it's size making it unique.

What is an Artist Proof?

An Artist Proof is a tradition carried on from the days of Lithography printing where the first prints were considered better than later ones. It was also a method of payment from publishing houses to artists. Today there is no difference in print quality but they are numbered as AP's and have a higher collectable value. Each Artist Proof is individually inspected in detail to make sure it is absolutely perfect in every way.

Where can I purchase a framed print?

If I order a print online, how do I know what I'm getting?

I realize that it is very difficult to imagine a print when viewed on a website. Therefore, Action Art gives you a complete satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your print when you receive it, return it within 14 days for exchange or a complete refund.
